British Columbians deeply value our wild spaces.
In 2022, the provincial government committed to protecting 30% of the province by 2030. But with just 15.9% of lands and waters fully protected today, reaching the goal will require doubling protections in four years — and that will require loud public support.
Enter Bruce: a puppet lynx and the star of the Keep It Wild, BC campaign!
Bruce “The Lynx” Canowski is travelling across BC to meet the people who love the province’s incredible wild places and want to protect them.
He meets with real people — hunters, hikers, Indigenous leaders, experts, industry workers — to learn more about their experiences with the wild places in BC and to prove to his young niece and nephew at home that these places still exist and are worth protecting.
With a long road trip adventure ahead, even a puppet needs snacks on the road and fuel for the car.
Chip in to help fund his journey, keep the campaign live, and help keep BC wild for generations to come.
